Hair is measured straight and curly extensions shrink, just like your own hair. We want you to feel confident about picking the correct length for your desired style. Please read futher to ensure you are purchasing the correct length for your needs:

Tip: You can also measure at the nape of your neck to see where the hair falls, this will be the longest layer. Next, measure right above the ear, this will be the middle layer. Last, measure where you want your part, this will be the shortest layer.

All extensions are measured in their fully straight state. Your extensions will measure 5"/6" shorter than the listed length when in its kinky/curly state; extensions listed as 18" will actually measure 12"/13" when kinky/curly.

I have gone back and forth to this site for about a year contemplating whether or not to buy a wig. I believe we vote with our dollars, so I wanted to support a black owned company where the hair was ethically sourced. It’s not clear to me if the hair is in fact ethically sourced, but I decided to try it. The hair has been fantastic to me. I want to add that I followed the suggested hair care products. I figured there is no point in spending that much money on hair, and ruining it. I don’t know that using other products would ruin the hair, but I wasn’t willing to take that chance. I used the Nilas shampoo and conditioner. It’s expensive but it’s worth it. I only use a Denman brush. The products they recommend are so good I’ve switched to using them on my own hair. I waited so long to order because I was debating spending so much money on a wig, but I will not hesitate again. This hair quality is not the same as that of those cheaper sites. This hair is good quality and you are getting what you paid for. I also hesitated because I didn’t find enough reviews from buyers, YouTube videos, or examples from “real” customers, and I wanted to see some other than those on the official pages. The only review I saw said the hair is dry. It is not. Black hair can be dry, and this is as close to matching your texture as possible. Any natural hair girl knows you have to use hydrating products. This isn’t any different. I sincerely hope you don’t hesitate as I did and get it! I love it. As soon as Amala becomes a Upart I will be getting it.

Just what I wanted

This is well worth the money honey. Hair was very soft, no smell. I did the crochet method so I had no leave out. Less product used the better. Will get a lil bigger once it dries. But it’s nothing crazy. I’d recommend taking it off at night while sleeping.

Best wig I've purchased!

The texture in person is exactly as it looks online. The hair styles easily and detangles effortlessly. It has a lot of body. The clips secure it very well and the part is concealed and blends with little/no leave out.
